FUN MONDAY - Who Said That

This week’s FUN MONDAY host is Robin the Pensive one. She says, ‘please share words that inspire and motivate you–brief or bloviatory, silly or serious, from great world leaders to last night’s Comedy Central…from a Hallmark greeting card to your favorite book. Choose one, choose many; let the quotes stand on their own or tell where you first read or heard them and how they affected you.

My current favorite -
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Yes, a little authenticity never goes out of style, right? And, if only getting motivated was as simple as looking at a pretty poster. . .

Sometimes Dr. Seuss says it best. I am coleecting some of the quotes to use at school. I am adding this meaningful quote to my list.

That's a great quote. We all need to just "be ourselves" and to hell with the people who don't like who we are. Fart, burp, pick your nose...see who's really a friend (the one who'll laugh at you) and see who's not (the one who keeps very quiet and pretends not to see, hear or smell a thing!)

They have thos stupid posters up at our Region office...well, not those, but the "real" ones. I think having these up on the walls would be much more inspring and truthful!

Dr Seuss's messages to children of all ages are subliminal, and good for the mind and soul!!!

Ah Dr. Seuss, one can never go wrong with Dr. Seuss. But I especially loved the little chihuahua LOL Nows that's a brave little fella!

I had forgotten Dr. Seuss had said that (I wonder if I'll remember).

Your posters are HEE-LAIR! And the little pup reminds me entirely too much of the "monkey business" goin' on at our place!

Thanks for joining in FM this week!

Oh my goodness....I love that last one. I was so bad at math when I was in school. I wonder what my teacher would have done if I gave that as my response!

I love the way you presented your quotes with the pictures. They all soooo true. Love the little Chihuahua.

Thanks for visiting my first Fun Monday at Small Reflections today. I understand your comment so much better seeing your current ‘favorite’ quote. I loved all your ‘posters’ … my favorite is the one with the dogs … and the ‘thin line’ between bravery and stupidity ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

"Simplicity" cracks me up! I can just see one of my GATE 5th graders saying "Here it is." and pointing to the x with a self-satisfied grin on his mug!

I wasn't allowed to read Dr. Seuss books when I was a child. However, I was allowed to watch, every year, the Boris Karloff-narrated How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It's still one of my all-time favorites. I've since read all the Dr. Seuss books (with a vague feeling of being naughty).

Sorry I didn't get to you sooner, somehow you ended up in my spam file, but I pulled you out. Great fun Monday. I love that first saying too. I also loved the funnies. My daughter (I know because she is home schooled) does her math like that last one.
