FTC!
Ok, you won. I didn't think you'd do it. Of course, you had to cushion it with the whole "I'm so tired" act to make it more acceptable...anyway. Very cute. I wonder if anybody else has thought of that?
Don't work too hard!
ROFLMAO!!!!
I LOVE this-----now, ummmmm[insert me looking over my shoulder to see if anyone is witnessing this confession....] I've NEVER flipped the bird! To anyone.
Did I say how much I love your bird entry?
I'm almost afraid to ask you to come by and visit my FM question. But I will-------
Oh oh....
I just saw a flash of lightning...scratch my confession.
Hee hee. Your little bird is very cute. Hope you catch up on some sleep soon.
*giggle*
When I was living in Rapid City, I lived next door to someone who also was born and raised in New England. We'll call her K. So, K. and I are driving in downtown Rapid and she was going on about how polite people are there and said that she hasn't seen anyone flip the bird while driving since she was here. She said, "I don't even think they know what it means. Watch." and she randomly flipped someone off. The look of confusion on their face...anyway, I wanted to crawl into the backseat and die, but I couldn't since I was driving. She then said, "Amazing! That would have gotten everybody going back home." And then, she did it again. This time the guy actually responded by flipping her off right back. She was so excited she leaned out the window, yelled, "Go New England!!" and gave him a double bird salute.
Sigh...why can't I ever have normal friends?
That's very funny--I also have a picture of someone giving the bird for today's Fun Monday.
hahahaha!
Dreaming What Ifs...
Whoa...I had no idea the "finger" was a phallic reference!
Now I want to do it even more!
This is not something I do as a rule, but during an argument with my husband, I ran out of words and just flipped him off.
The effect was totally ruined when he burst out laughing, literally clutching himself while tears rolled down his face. It was totally unexpected on his part and he had no idea how to respond to his rather stern wife flipping him off.
I'm sitting here looking at it thinking "bird?" Then I see that itty bitty finger and just about fell off my chair! Pure genius LOLOLOLOL
Now I KNOW you didnt learn THAT at Penn State! But I did, yep, never knew what it was before that. Thanks for showing my little sister a fun time. fellow alumna
VERY funny … (I thought about this briefly myself, but let it go … just because). Actually I had another ‘bird’ thing to share or I might have gone with the idea ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Well I've learned something today LOL
Oh that's funny. :)
Oh I GET it now! A bit slow on the uptake. You may be tired, but still clever! Plus, now I know everything I need to about digital insulting.
I have to admit, I wondered which of us would come up with this one.
Why am I not surprised that you were the creative one?
Too cute.
You win !
I had a feeling someone was going to post something like this... :)
I love it....you win the prize!!!
Haha! Very funny! Must admit it took me clicking on the link to get it. I was thinking Oh what a cool statue! We don't call it the bird down here, just the finger or flipping the finger! Love the history lesson! Hmmm I wonder if I should print it out and take it down the beach for our next lesson? Just a thought!
Well done! You certainly rose to the occasion.
This is so *You*! And a grumpy figure at that.
Absolutely loved your bird picture !!
Hey, hey, hey - I said A bird not THE bird! Gosh, get it right girl. :)
