The always exuberant Ladies over at Mamadrama are our host for this weeks FUN MONDAY and to quote for this week assignment
“Here goes:
Remember way back in elementary school when you had to do a report on James Garfield, the 20th President of the United States and you told the class all about how he was shot after only four months in office? You also remember that he recovered after a week, but doctor's continued to probe at the healed wound causing complications and resulting in his death almost three months later? Okay, we all knew that about Garfield, but you also remember that James Garfield could write with both hands at one time and in different languages.!!! Why do you remember that? Maybe for you it wasn't James Garfield, but somewhere in your past education, you picked-up some little bit of useless information that you've never forgotten.
What funny trivial fact do you remember that you probably should have forgotten a long time ago?”

This assignment could prove to be problematic - it seams I amass useless information to the point I have been accused of reading the answers to those trivia game prior to playing. Truth it only very select information I have. Can’t tell you who wrote a book or played in a movie, but all the natural history, yep sticks in my head.
So useless fact from school the average adult human head weighs eight pounds, and so d

Make mine a gallon of chocolate milk, please.
Sincerely,
Beer Ass
If it's lowfat do the weights still work out the same? Poetic justice says, no.
Wait! My brain is full of holes, so make mine 2% chocolate milk, 1/2 gallon.
It's a pity that I didn't know it 40 years ago, lol !
This is super to know. A fact I just may use some day. LOL
Loved this Fun Monday. Mine is posted. Hopefully this is a bit on the 'FUNny side' too. Drop by if you can, won't you? Happy day to you.
Hee hee, now that was god. I wonder how many heads they lopped off and weighed for that one? Shiver. :D
I don't know why but your post made me laugh out loud LOL
Weighing heads is not a job I would want.
Very useful information, I'll try to remember that as a conversation breaker.
Just as long as I don't have to replace the milk with my head...you really don't want to see that in the fridge.
Thanks for playing this week!

I knew that about heads and I knew that about milk. I had just never combined the two!
Great job.
Heck, if i lose my head, i am leaving it off...that much closer to my target weight! ;0)
I would no longer have to fret about my post-40 acne, would I?
Here's my Fun Monday post
I didn't know that!
hahaha! I did not know that.
Dreaming What Ifs...
Now that is something we all need to know LOL
I did not know this and I am not sure I believe you -will have to weigh the milk -us smart 9 lb heads do stuff like that.
Who knew??? Certainly not me ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I've learned so much reading Fun Monday posts today. I knew about the head thing from the little kid in Jerry Maguire but didn't realize a gallon of milk weighed the same. Or a gallon of any liquid would work I suppose.
Now that is a fact I never knew. Maybe I could replace hubby's head with a gallon of milk. :)
I'm allergic. Will soy work. ha ha ha.
What a wonderful piece of trivia.
Ha ha!!
