~THIS WEEK'S FUN MONDAY HOST: The sweeten and spunky KITTEN .
~THE ASSIGMENT ~Tell me about the Super Hero in your life. Not from TV, but anyone that has been or is in your life that you have really looked up to or has made a impact on your life. It can one or many. You can share pictures if you like. Just have fun with it.
My Hero
Just funning
While I would have love to take my time
And write to you all lovely rhyme
Of the man who means the world to me
And thought me not by words but by deed
The measure of a man is not how he handles sunshine
But how he handles the rain
This story will have to wait
Till some night when it is not quite so late.

That sandwich looks pretty good!
Ha! The hero pictured would be a good place to start in the whole hero worship thing! I'm sure if you had a few more minutes to spare we'd have a fine sonnet to honor your OTHER hero.
Very sweet! I was going to write a poem but was too lazy! Im glad to see someone else was not so lazy! I can't wait to read the next poem when you write it!
Did I miss something?
That was a fun poem~ you would be a hero to get through that sandwich~ or maybe it's not as big as it looks!
Very good! (both the sandwich and the poem)
That's sweet, a poet and you don't know it? Come on....that was truly very poetic and can't wait 'til you CAN find words to describe your hero in depth.
My F M is shared.
But question: is there any leftover sandwich? I'm hungry.
Gah! Now I'm hungry...
Not how he handles sunshine but how he handles rain.......THAT is profound. Very cool fun Monday post. Now I've got to go - heading to Subway!

Man that sandwich does look good!!!!!! Love your poem!!
I love poetry as well
but if I had tried to tell
my story in rhyme like you
it would not be up to view ;--)
The ‘hero’ looks delicious but I’ve just eaten some cereal & fruit so I’m fine for now. Mine’s up at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,
suddenly i'm very very hungry!!
lovely poem.
Brill poem, I love the line; 'The measure of a man is not how he handles sunshine
But how he handles the rain'. That is so true.
your little rhyme was priceless...hope you get some good rest!!
smiles!
ha ha ha ha... I wondered if anyone would choose a hero sandwich.
Your hero looks mighty tasty. Dang it, I'm hungry now.
