My tree - yes the constantia wire adds that special touch don’t you think?
And still I did not win ugliest tree - how is this possible? Well there is always next year.

"concertina" wire???? WTF???
Yes, Christmas is all about family. Not sure about the Christmas tree!
Oh my, you need to explain more, IamwhoIam! I thought concertina wire was mostly used for offing people by the Mafia? I will tell you though that when growing up if our tree would not stand after several tries my father would tie a wire around it and nail the wire to the floor. Would you call that "distressed wood"?
All the best to you and your family in '09. And in answer to your inquiry, I'd be honored to be related to you. I fear, however, you'd be getting the short end of the pedigree!
I too am bewildered by the constantia wire. If there is a contest for ugliest tree, our tree might be in the running. Our artificial tree is the top of an old bigger tree that I placed in a bucket of plaster of Paris. Every year, I think about replacing our Charlie Brown Christmas tree, but apparently this is not the year for a new tree. Happy New Year to you and your touching, wonderful, craziest family.

Hello IamwhoIam! So nice to hear from you and, of course, you can "play Fun Monday". You're a FM alumnus! I put you on the sign up links. Check back Sunday evening for the final participant list.
Hope you and your family are well and happy--enjoying the end of summer.
I think I just stepped into a time warp...Where are you today?
Not to mention being confused on the use of concertina wire?
